Intimate Family Elopement in Wanaka | Rosie & Sam

Surrounded by just their immediate family, Rosie and Sam’s Wanaka elopement felt really special, one of my highlights of this wedding season.

We had the ceremony at a local viewpoint just outside of Wanaka, making it easy for everyone to get there while still having the incredible mountain views behind them. One of my favourite moments was Grandma being the ring bearer. Such a simple little touch, but one that will be cherished by everyone forever.

Afterwards, Rosie and Sam headed up to Coromandel Peak for portraits and a little adventure of their own. It was a beautiful chance for the two of them to have a moment together after the ceremony.

I love elopements like this. They can be simple and relaxed with plenty of time to actually be present with the people you chose to have there.

Beautifully planned by Daisy & Moss Elopements.

— A few words from Rosie & Sam—

“We could not be happier with our elopement photos shot by Anneke. She is incredibly talented!! We were a little nervous to get behind the camera but straight away Anneke set us at ease. She was calm, positive and her gentle direction really helped our day run smoothly. Our families also could not rave enough about how helpful and amazing she was on the day. If you want an authentic mix between candid pics and some staged photos - Anneke is your lady! She has a creative eye and now we have photos we will treasure for life. We genuinely could not recommend her enough!”
